I’ve had a camera of one form or another in my hand for as long as I can remember. Photography is a natural extension of my storytelling interests and through the eye of my lens I notice things that others often overlook.
I was published as a photographer for the first time in the 2014 Sister Writes anthology. Over twenty of my colour photographs were reproduced in black and white throughout the book which also featured my flash fiction story Weather Report. While I’m self-taught I recently began taking private instruction from renowned Toronto photographer Pamela Williams. I’ve completed Pamela’s Black and White Photography Darkroom Techniques course and her Basics of Digital Photography (Level One).
As a live-blogger and live-tweeter my photography skills come in handy as most of my live event reporting is complemented by my photography. My photography will be showcased on this website as well with information on how to license it.
